This is a very difficult email for me as it will be my final announcement and it's very bitter-sweet. I will be retiring on January 3rd. I was hoping to stay until January 15th., but due to lack of inventory I will be unable to do so.
I always said I would retire at age 65 and that age has come and gone. My husband has been retired for a few years and now it's my turn. Although I really love my "Creative Expressions Family", it's now time to enter a different chapter of my life and spend more time with my husband, family and friends and be able to travel more with my husband which I have not been able to do.
This was a very difficult decision to make as I truly love my business, but I don't want to look back and say, " I wish I retired sooner". It's time... It's time to say goodbye to my "Creative Expressions Family" and move on. I will certainly miss ALL of you but hope you understand.
Helping Hands-Loving Hearts, a foundation for children with catastrophic illnesses, will be taking over the shop and keeping it basically as it is now with the same line of candles, Lampe Berger Lamps and fragrances, Demdaco Willowtree Angels, handcrafted furniture, and also adding other lines. I am sure you will welcome them to Point Pleasant and support this very worth-while charity. They will be opening approximately the middle of January, so watch for their "Grand Opening". We will forward your email address on to them. If you do not wish to receive their emails, please opt out.
We will be having a 30% OFF EVERYTHING in the shop on Saturday, January 2nd. from 9:00 - 5:00 and Sunday, January 3rd. from 12:00 - 4:00.
Again, thank you for 25 GREAT years in Point Pleasant and thank you so much for your patronage, but most important, thank you for your friendship.
