Haven's Sweet Shop is excited to be an integral part of the local community. Growing up, Haven's Sweet Shop founder, Mike, often visited Point Pleasant with his family. Now as a dad, he and his wife Amy love bringing their daughter, (conveniently named) Haven, to Point Pleasant to enjoy rides, games and meals. We pledge to offer an incredible assortment of popular fresh ice creams, candies, chocolates, and sweets at a fair price served to you with our friendly, smiling faces.

Q: What is your name, name of business and where are you are located?
A: Hi, I’m Michael Langsner, the owner of Haven’s Sweet Shop. Well, this is debatable as my six year old daughter, Haven, says the sweet shop is hers since her name is on the sign. We are located at 512 Bay Avenue in Point Pleasant Beach near the intersection of Arnold Avenue. Q: How long have you been in business? A: Haven’s Sweet Shop opened it’s doors late July 2020. Q: Describe what type of products your business has to offer. A: Haven’s Sweet Shop is a local family-owned small boutique business operating as a hybrid sweet shop and ice cream parlor. We feature approximately 20 varieties of ice cream flavors including a nice selection of premium vegan options, low sugar, and gluten-free choices. We also make giant “Epic Sundaes” and unique milk shakes. As for candies, we are proud of our selection of chocolate covered pretzels, fudge, home made seasonal chocolates, and a variety of brand name novelty candies, taffy, gummy's, and nostalgic selections. Q: Who is your target clientele? A: We like to believe we offer something for everyone. Unless you’re crazy and don’t like sweets… even then… we have snacks beverages and coffee options available. Besides offering candy, chocolates, and ice cream for all ages, we are proud of our gift tray selections which are fantastic for corporate gifts, referral gifts, holidays and teachers. Q: How does the chamber benefit your business? A: Being part of the chamber of commerce (and being a board member in 2021) has provided us with the opportunity to meet (and do business with) so many fantastic people. As a new business (especially one which opened in the middle of a pandemic) the chamber has provided a great conduit to meet great people who have a sweet tooth that needed to be satisfied!
