Haven's Sweet Shop is excited to be an integral part of the local community. Growing up, Haven's Sweet Shop founder, Mike, often visited Point Pleasant with his family. Now as a dad, he and his wife Amy love bringing their daughter, (conveniently named) Haven, to Point Pleasant to enjoy rides, games and meals. Edward A Butler opened Butler Pharmacy on Bridge Avenue in October of 1955. Norman Beyer was hired as a young pharmacist in 1957 and assumed ownership of the store from 1970 to 2016. Norman subsequently turned the business over to his daughter, Tracye Beyer Steel, who, like her father, is a pharmacist. Today, Butler Pharmacy continues to operate as a family business with the addition of Tracye's son, Benjamin Steel, who introduces a third generation of the family to the Pharmacy.
